Our Ministry of "Restoring Hope to Hopeless" has been changing the lives of families and individuals who sought relieves through prayers and our services. With the assistance of God, we provide to families and individuals the ability to realize their true potential. We also change the lives of volunteers, social workers, and advocates, giving them a meaningful outreach right in their own communities. We intervene in the following areas:

Bringing our Neighbors In from Cold

Each year, as winter approaches and the temperature begins to drop, many homeless people move from the streets to their city’s shelter system to escape the cold.  Without a carefully constructed winter plan, homeless service facilities may find themselves unable to accommodate the influx of residents, and some of those people who seek shelter are turned out into the cold.  With nowhere to stay except the streets, homeless people are at risk for a variety of conditions caused by exposure to the cold, including frostbite and hypothermia, both of which can be permanently damaging to one’s health and can sometimes be life-threatening.  Many of the chronic problems faced by the homeless people, including inadequate clothing, malnutrition, and underlying infection, further increase the risk of developing and dying from hypothermia.  In addition, many homeless people struggle with alcohol and drug addictions..

Working to Curb Criminality in Community

Crime can be closely linked to the conditions for children in our community. There is a strong link between reducing risk and building resilience in children and decreasing crime. We address conditions which hinder healthy development and can become the breeding ground for crime. We address the root causes of crime. Crime is primarily the outcome of multiple adverse social, economic, cultural and family conditions. To prevent crime it is important to have an understanding of its roots. Addressing root causes associated with economic factors/poverty; social environment; and family structures. Our strategy starts first by addressing the insufficient income problem through career development, leadership development programs, personal development, and spiritual development. Our social enterprise strategy of reducing poverty provides is a strong engine of removing individuals from low-income status to sufficient income status. Our program that encourage and support the entrepreneurship helps people in poverty become financially self-sufficient.  In addition to the above stated crime prevention methods, through its Summit Ministry Center, ORPE Ministry of Restoring Hope to Hopeless has evangelization vocation that seeks to reveal God to humanity. Finally, solutions in regard of crime prevention is by definition the ability of an organization to implement strategies focused on mind-transformation from unconsciousness  mind to consciousness mind. Minds transformation from unconsciousness to consciousness is what constitute the core strategy of ORPE Human Rights Advocates in regard of reducing or removing criminality around our communities.
