An Effort toward CARF Accreditation

Orpe Human Rights Advocates will be seeking accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF). Therefore, it will be making sure that persons it will be serving remain at the center of the service delivery process. This is what exactly CARF's goal is seeking.

By pursuing and achieving accreditation, Orpe Human Rights Advocates will be able to demonstrate that it meets international standards for quality and is committed to pursuing excellence. Accreditation demonstrates that our organization values the input of our clients and is accountable to the community.

Our effort of being awarded accreditation is focused in the areas of Behavioral Health and Employment and Community Services for the following programs:

  • BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

    • Veterans domiciliary programs to be implemented

    • Veterans, Individual, and Families Resource Center to be implemented in various locations, cities, counties, and states

    • Family Services,  Anne Arundel, Howard, Frederick, Baltimore

    • Residential Treatment Center expected to be implemented in various locations, counties, and other areas

  • EMPLOYMENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

    • Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Baltimore

    • Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Howard County

    • Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Frederick

    • Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Anne Arundel

    • Supportive Services for Veteran Families, other areas

Having Accreditation will officially recognize that Orpe Human Rights Advocates will be operating in compliance with standards guided by internationally recognized service standards and best practices.
